Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission participated in Stakeholders Conference for Peaceful, Free and Fair 2013 Elections held at El Manuel Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 wherein various stakeholders especially politicians commit themselves by signing a Peace Covenant. The said program headed by PNP-ARMM and the Consortium on Election Reforms-Institute for Political and Electoral Reforms (CER-IPER) together with Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and Armed forces of the Philippines as well as CSO within ARMM. The main highlight of the activity was the signing of the Declaration of Support to SAFE 2013 by the attending stakeholders and members of the different CSO and politicians.
During the Meeting of Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission Commissioner’s meeting, Chairman Atty. Dimapuno Ramos Datu laid down the plans for the upcoming provincial consultation’s at Maguindanao,Basilan, Lanao, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi. (February 4, 2013)
